I recently came across the Birth year challenge and thought it sounded interesting. Basically, you find books that were published in the year you were born and read them. So, since my birth year was 1971 (ahem) my books are as follows:
1. Nemesis by Agatha Christie
2. The day of the Jackal by frederick Forsyth
3. Bonecrack by Dick Francis
4. The lathe of heaven by Ursula K. Le Guin
5. Wheels by Arthur Hailey
6. The end of summer by Rosamunde Pilcher
7. The Carpet People by Terry Pratchett
Those are my books for now, I may read more if I can find them. I am trying not to buy books this year until I have got rid of some, so it was dependent on what is in the library!

Welcome, Tracy! You have some good ones here and such variety. I think that's one of the best things about the challenge: winding up reading something unexpected.
Glad to have you along!
