Mosaic Monday no 3

The theme this week was games, so I chose some photos of Brenda doing sports. The hockey, netball and swimming are all at school. She is in the team for all three, and then there is one of her horse riding, one of ice skating and one of her and my sis running in a race. Hop on over to Lori's blog to see some more great mosaics.

Shimelles New Class

I saw this class on Shimelles Blog tonight and am going to try and have a go at it, although there is loads going on here at the moment. I love Shimelles classes and am looking forward to doing this. The idea is to start scrapping yourself, which is something I never do. So go on over to this post and have a look. Everyone is welcome to join in.

Mosaic Monday no 2

Here we are on my second week of Mosaic Monday, and the theme was food. I am really enjoying this project, it is making me think a little bit! I chose to use the photos that I had of all the Christmas food we made over this holiday season! Enjoy!

PS Will only be able to link this later, when I am home from work!

Favourite Foto Friday # 57

This weeks theme is cold. Well, it doesnt get very cold here in Durban at all. The coldest it really gets is 8 or 9 celcius, so I chose some photos from the Drakensberg taken a few years ago. It did not snow and the days were warmish, but the mornings and evenings were freezing! And yes, there is one of Brenda in her costume going down the waterslide! She nagged and nagged and nagged and nagged (you get the picture) until eventually I gave in and lether do it. Of course, 1 jump into the pool and she was rushing to the bathrooms at the campsite next to the pool for a hot bath! Sometimes mothers know best!

Mosaic Monday

I have decided to join in with Mosaic Monday which can be found here. Each week you make up a mosaic of pictures according to a theme and then blog and link it up. Sounds like fun. The theme this week is YOU, so here is mine.

#1 (Big square) is me. I do not have many pictures of me at all, I a usually the one behind the camera, so decided to do a self portrait and just accept whatever came up, so here I am.

#2 Music - I have lots of favourit music, but my absolute favourite of all time is Rod Stewart.

#3 Food - once again, lots of food I like, but my favourite has to be Roast Meals -anything roasted I love

#4 Author - this was REALLY difficult, because I read A LOT. But my favourite series is by Diana Gabaldon. If you havent already read her series, I suggest you do. You will fall in love with the hero - Jamie Fraser, he is amazing!

#5 Travel - I would love to go to Pompeii, have always been fascinated and since my mom and gran have both been, I would love t go

#6 Movie - This was also very difficult, but was eventually a toss up between THe Shawshank redemption, and The Breakfast Club. The Breakfast Club won.

#7 Hobby - Scrapbooking, and cardmaking, also like knitting

#8 Colour - Pink

#9 Clothing - what I wear most is Jeans!

#10 Gotta have it - have got to have my watch, I feel lost without knowing what the time is

#11 Website at the moment is UKScrappers

#12 TV - I watch very little TV, but my favourite programme of all time is Friends

#13 was free so I chose a recent one of my daughter Brenda

Layouts

I have been on a crafting spree lately. Did 2 layouts yesterday and have made 3 cards. More than I have done in ages. I am still doing the JYC but am behind with it! I have not taken any more pictures though. Here are the 2 that I did yesterday.

I have also joined the Project 365 being done on UKS. I have to take a picture a day. I doubt that I will be scrapping these pictures due to time constraints but am uploading them to a seperate blog and to flickr.

Happy New Year

Happy New Year to everybody out there. I hope that 2009 brings you everything that you can wish for!

Just a small update as to what we have been up to. We had a great Christmas, and since then this is mainly what Brenda has been doing!
