Theme for this week is Leap, and this is the closest I could get!These photos were taken on a rainy day last week. Brenda had just got home from school and it was so hot that when it started raining she just ran out and started running around in the rain.

Favourite Foto Friday # 18
The theme for this week is Then and Now.
This was not the first picture that we have of Brenda, but was the earliest I could find on the computer. She is 5 days old here.
For the now picture I chose one that I took last week at the school gala, just as she had climbed out of the pool. It was a miserable, rainy day and she looks freezing here, even though it is the middle of the summer.
It is amazing to think how much changes in slightly over 10 years. How she has grown from a tiny little thing to a young lady!

GOOD NEWS!
My big announcement that I promised a few weeks ago is that I have got a new job. I was reluctant to say too much as I was worried Debbie would try and block things or delay everything, but she hasn't! I start in 2 weeks time. It will be working at the college and going around to all the different hospitals working with the students. I am really getting quite excited now, but very nervous. The best thing is the hours. I will be working regular hours and no weekends or holidays! It is a new post and there are going to be 5 of us, including one of my good friends from work, so at least I will know someone. At the moment I am just enjoying my last few weekdays off!

Favourite Foto Friday #17
Can't believe I have been doing this each Friday for 17 weeks! Theme this week is Sleeping Angels, so another old one. This is Brenda at about 18 months asleep with our kitten and other cat in the background. Three sleeping angels! The little kitten was quite wild and this was one of the few times he came to sleep with us.
We went to Midmar last weekend to watch Dayle swim the Midmar Mile. Weather was miserable you would never have believed it was the middle of summer! When we got there you could hardly even see 20 metres across the dam let alone the entire way! Brenda had a lovely time running around in the rain and mist and spent a fortune at the funfair, so here are some pics of that.

Theme for this week is messy faces, so this is one from a little while ago. We had given Brenda and a friend a bowl of batter to lick clean, and when we came out both of them were covered in it. This is the first pic we took when they were unaware of us!

Back to work!
I went back to work on Sunday, very sad after 3 weeks off. How I wish I could win the lottery and stay at home! We had quite a nice day though. Yesterday I went in because it was supposed to be a baby shower, but no one had organised anything, and so they postponed it to today. Just shows you when Veronica or I are not there nothing gets organised! Did a scrapbook page last night and one on Saturday so I am getting along quite well at the moment.Here is yesterdays page, havent uploaded the other one. It is in memory of our group from training days and was done for a challenge on UKS.

Favourite Foto Friday #16
Theme for this week is kisses, so had to dig out some old pics. This is Brenda and a friends little boy. We used to spend lots of time with them and the two of them just loved each other. Funny thing was, people used to always ask us if they were twins!Other thing is that he is 2 months younger than her, but looks much bigger!
Cant believe it has been two weeks since I have posted here. Things have been really busy, but I didnt think it was that long. Brenda is loving her new school! She has made the swimming team, so 2 mornings a week has to do training at 6:20! I go back to work on Sunday and have a big announcement coming soon. Can't say anything yet, until I know exactly what is happening, but I am very excited. And no......I am not pregnant!
